Form2Content Articles

The Articles generated by Form2Content are saved within the Joomla! sections and category structure. Each Form2Content article is linked by ID to the corresponding Joomla! Article. This means there are two versions of your article within the Joomla! database. One is in the Form2Content tables, neatly split into all the fields used to submit the article and the other as a standard HTML field in the Joomla! article table. Whenever you change something in the F2C submission form of  the article the Joomla! database value for the corresponding article is overwritten.

The Joomla! Article Manager displays several tabs of parameters. Some of these values can be found in the Form2Content Article Manager. The following values can be inserted into the Form2Content Article and will always overwrite the Joomla! Article Manager.

Meta keywords tick tick

*Instead of the default Joomla name (like Title) you can set a custom name (like Portfolio name or Blog title) next to the field. This will make your form easier to understand for your website visitors. (from F2C version2.2.0 onwards)

All other values found in the tabs can be edited as usual through the Joomla! Article Manager.

From version 2.2.0 onwards: The Articles generated by Form2Content can be ordered in the back-end Form2Content article manager. Users using the front-end F2C article manager can't order their articles since there might be other articles in the same category belonging to other users.

Article (Form) Manager From Form2Content version 2.2.0 onwards the F2C Article manager works just like the Joomla! article manager.

Updating template changes (Batch edit)

There is one extra function in the backe-end F2C Article Manager. If you have made a change to your template you can select all the articles using this template and Refresh them. All articles will be 'parsed' again using the updated template. This means you don't have to edit all your articles individually!
